Words from people who said it better than I could...
"There are two lasting bequests we can give our children. One is roots, the other is wings." ~ Hodding Carter
"Children make your life important." ~ Erma Bombeck
"You can't go against the grain of the universe and not expect to get splinters." ~ CS Lewis
"Life was meant to be lived." ~ Eleanor Roosevelt
"Life is too short not to fully participate in it." ~ unknown
"Don't worry that children never listen to you. Worry that they are always watching you." ~ Robert Fulghum
"We worry about what a child will become tomorrow, yet we forget that he is someone today." ~ Stacia Tauscher
"If you bungle raising your children, I don't think whatever else you do matters very much." ~ Jacqueline Kennedy
"Every experience God give us, every person He puts in our lives, is the perfect preparation for the future that only He can see." ~ Corrie ten Boom
"Attitude is a small thing that makes a big difference." ~ Winston Churchill
"When I stand before God at the end of my life I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left, and could say, 'I used everything you gave me.' " ~~ Erma Bombeck
"People are often unreasonable and self-centered~
Forgive them anyway!
If you are kind people may accuse you of ulterior motives~
Be kind anyway!
If you are honest, people may cheat you~
Be honest anyway!
If you find happiness, people may be jealous~
Be happy anyway!
The good you do today may be forgotten tomorrow~
Do good anyway!
Give to the world the best you have and it may never be enough~
Give your best anyway!
For you see, in the end, it is between you and GOD~
It was NEVER between you and them anyway!!!" ~
Mother Teresa
