Actually I do love that dress and I had one very similiar to it when I was about 7 or 8, and just loved it.
Think they used to call them sailor dresses, and my dad was a sailor. I remember a pic my Mom had of me and my dad on his ship and I had that dress on.
They are very cute! Kids clothing can be so cute. I sew some, but I really enjoyed sewing for my daughter when she was lil cause you could make a whole outfit really quick. Now that is fun!!

Your Sailor Dress is a-dor-able! I can just see it with a lil sailor cap and tiny white gloves, patten leather shoes and a huge smile. Love this.
