Cash for Clunkers?

IF MY BODY WERE A CAR...

If my body were a car, this is the time I would be thinking about trading it in for a newer model. I've got bumps and dents and scratches in my finish, and my paint job is getting a little dull. But that's not the worst of it. My headlights are out of focus, and it's especially hard to see things up close.

My traction is not as graceful as it once was. I slip and slide and skid and bump into things even in the best of weather.

My whitewalls are stained with varicose veins. It takes me hours to reach my maximum speed. My fuel rate burns inefficiently.

But here's the worst of it --

Almost every time I sneeze, cough or laugh, either my radiator leaks or my exhaust backfires.

CASH FOR CLUNKERS..........I QUALIFY - How about You?

"Cute" and convicting at the same time. I'm doing my best to care for the clunker :)

Re. The Hermitage Inn...I, too, have done personal retreats at various places and stages of life. It is SO good to share this passion with you. I'm not sure WHERE this blog will go. It is HIS and a result of a "dream" He planted in my heart to create a space that somehow communicates the "place" of quiet rest - near the heart of God."

I fear that many of us miss lifestyle of "rest" spoken of in Hebrews 3 & 4.

Yeah, I'm hoping to get a few more good miles out of my clunker! And I'm in desperate need of a "tune-up"!

When I first saw that blog, Rebecca, and saw you as the "innkeeper", I thought, "oh my goodness, I've got to GO here!" I started clicking around for the location and price! Really! Where ever that blog takes you, I'm in! What an absolutely wonderful idea and dream...to create a virtual place of quiet rest, near to the heart of God! I'm so looking forward to some retreats there!

I don't know if this clunker would even qualify for cash! Trying to tune it up as best as possible though! I wish I could see the picture, but I can't get it to post, oh well love the thought!

The picture is that familiar internet lady looking all frumpy in her big slippers and holding a large cup of coffee! Wonder why you can't see it? This was just for fun today...yesterday was quite "heavy"!

Cute! I think we have the same model (body) lol. Thank goodness the paint (makeup) helps a bit!
